Using Your Tools

Once you've created tools in PegBoard, you can run them directly within Blender, SketchUp, or Rhino using the installed addons.

Quick Setup​

Blender​

  1. Download and install the PegBoard addon from the Downloads page
  2. Enable it in Edit > Preferences > Add-ons
  3. Press 'N' in the 3D Viewport to open the sidebar
  4. Look for the "PegBoard" tab

SketchUp​

  1. Download and install the PegBoard extension from the Downloads page
  2. Enable it in Extensions > Extension Manager
  3. Access tools via Extensions > PegBoard

Rhino​

  1. Download and install the PegBoard plugin from the Downloads page
  2. Enable it in Tools > Options > Plug-ins
  3. Type PegBoard in the command line or use Windows > Panels > PegBoard

Using the Tools​

Basic Steps​

  1. Open the PegBoard panel in your software
  2. Click "Refresh" to load your latest tools
  3. Select a tool from the list
  4. Click "Run" to execute

What You'll See​

  • List of all your PegBoard tools for that software
  • Tool descriptions and creation dates
  • One-click execution buttons
  • Automatic updates when you create new tools

Troubleshooting​

No tools showing?

  • Click "Refresh" in the loader panel
  • Make sure you've created tools for that specific software in PegBoard

Tools not working?

  • Check the error messages in the loader panel
  • Return to PegBoard to debug and fix the tool
