Your First Tool

Now that you have PegBoard and the design software addons installed, let's create a simple tool that adds a cube in Blender.

Creating Your First Tool​

Quick Steps​

  1. Open PegBoard → Click "New Tool"
  2. Choose Blender from the dropdown
  3. Type: "Create a tool that adds a cube at the cursor"
  4. Click Generate when ready
  5. Install the loader in Blender to use your tool

Example Description​

Create a Blender tool that adds a red cube at the cursor location

Using Your Tool​

  1. Open Blender
  2. Install the PegBoard loader addon
  3. Press 'N' to open the sidebar
  4. Find your tool in the PegBoard tab
  5. Click to run it
